I've had Tattoos for many years now and felt it was time to get them freshened up a bit. Over the years some had faded along with the stories behind them, although in my retirement years I popped in past Utopia body art in McCombie's court at the rear of M&S and met Nathan who is the owner, and Craig one of the Tattooist at the Studio. Both gave me very sound advice and a plan to get some of my Tats re-worked after a visual inspection.

An appointment was made for Saturday 7th June at the studio, what struck me firstly was how friendly all the Staff were who took the time to say hello, and speak about my tats and generally have a conversation. I must also add what a great Studio Utopia have very modern and clean, more so with a very relaxing atmosphere.

Craig then showed me round the Tattoo area which again was spotless and comfortable and how he would proceed with the re-work. When he got started all the safety and Hygiene rules were followed very thoroughly and in the end did a fantastic job with the tattoo now having vibrant colours and looking as new. As a result I will be going ahead with more re-works with Utopia in the very near future once I get an appointment arranged.

Pierced with Perfection (and Zero Tears)

Just got pierced at Utopia Body Piercing today, and let me tell you 10/10, would let them stab me again (in a professional, sanitized, very safe way, of course).

From the start, the team was amazing. I came in feeling clueless about jewelry, but they walked me through everything with zero judgment and total expertise. They helped me pick something that looked awesome and would heal well—basically jewelry matchmaking at its finest.

The piercing itself? Quick, clean, and way less scary than I expected. They were super chill, talked me through the whole thing, and made sure I didn’t pass out (success!).

And the aftercare advice? On point. I left feeling like a fully trained piercing parent—ready to nurture my new bling with love.
